Darryl D. Nabors, DDS
Health Centered Dentistry

Health-centered dentistry

Health-centered dentistry is the restoration of damaged teeth with the use of biologically compatible materials. Dr. Nabors has not used silver-mercury amalgams in over 21 years, due to the fact that many individuals are affected adversely to such materials in their mouths. At the patient's request or at the request of their referring physician, their reactive materials are safely removed and replaced with tooth-colored, biologically compatible materials.

The office has a state-of-the-art sterilization system. Materials brought in direct contact with patients are either disposable or autoclaved. Hand pieces are autoclaved after each use.

A sophisticated mercury recovery unit is in place to ensure that mercury removal from our patient’s mouths does not leave our facility through the waste water system and enter the environment

Cosmetic dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry includes techniques that improve the appearance of teeth for the look our patients want, whether it be whiter, longer or straighter, etc. Dr. Nabors uses tooth colored composite and ceramic materials to change the appearance of teeth and create beautiful, long-lasting, natural looking smiles.

If you are not pleased with the color of your teeth, Dr. Nabors provides a safe, non-invasive, and conservative method to whiten teeth at a minimal expense

Restorative dentistry

Restorative dentistry is replacing missing teeth and restoring damaged, broken down, or heavily filled teeth to optimum function, health, and aesthetics. Dr. Nabors uses composite resins, which are tooth colored fillings that provide a more natural appearance than amalgams used in the past. Ceramic restorations can also be used to change the appearance of teeth and to create a beautiful, long-lasting, natural looking smile.

Preventative/Maintenance dentistry

Once your dentistry is completed we want you to maintain your health and longevity of the work that has been completed. We encourage our patients to see the hygienist periodically to maintain the health of their teeth and gums.

Our certified dental hygienist has received extensive training in periodontal therapy to treat unhealthy gums and bring them to optimum health.
